I'm a UX/UI designer and researcher who graduated from Michigan State's Information Science program with a focus on HCI. A lot of what's on this site started as class briefs and turned into things I kept iterating on after the grade was in.
My process usually starts with talking to actual users, not assumptions — then moves through low-fidelity sketches, testing, and finally a UI that earns its polish because the structure underneath already works. That instinct didn't start in a classroom, either: supervising at a tea shop meant reading customer feedback and foot traffic to fix the actual layout, and performing with a lion dance troupe meant adapting the same performance to completely different audiences and venues — both are just user research and iteration by another name.
I'm a man of all things — lifting weights, chasing genuinely good food, seeing new places, and losing hours to a good anime or video game. I'm a big Kamen Rider fan too, which is where this site's whole color scheme actually comes from.
Mostly I'm just trying to live a life that's fun and meaningful every single day — and I want that same good health and good life for the people I care about, too.
Open to entry-level UX/UI roles and internships. Resume and full case studies linked below.
This site's palette is a nod to Kamen Rider Faiz — silver armor, black bodysuit, Photon Blood red. If you know, you know.
